excitement :)

I got word yesterday that I was approved for the "Leaving The Cocoon" mentoring program. I just have to go through training, then I will be assigned to a lady at the women's prison annex. I'll meet with her every other week for 6 months while she's on the inside, then I will continue to meet with her for an additional 6 months upon release.

I am so humbled that I will be allowed to be a positive influence in someone's life. Someone who's been on a rocky path. I pray for guidance and enlightenment on this leg of my journey.
