They say two things are certain....death and taxes. In Bendy's world, there are two more certainties.... My dad watches "The Price is Right" every morning and both my parents watch "Wheel of Fortune" every evening. I have learned not to call around 6:30, because my mom will be chatting with me and blurt out the answer to the puzzle mid sentence. "Yes, we took a ride down to CHILI WITH CRACKERS! It can be a very entertaining conversation as you can imagine.

When the folks started watching "Deal or No Deal" I had to threaten to have it blocked from their cable package. They were having heated arguments over the suitcases for cryin' out loud! Thankfully, that has settled down.

I called mom last night after my final to tell her how I scored. Two sentences into the conversation, I noticed she wasn't paying attention, which spurned me to say "What's on tv?" The reply? "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?"
