Beginnings.....

Beginnings are always exciting for me for the most part. Beginning a new book...what turns and twists will it take? Beginning a new year...what's in store for my life? Beginning a new relationship....is this THE ONE? I like the anticipation of what's around the next bend in the road.

Tonight marks yet another new beginning for me. The next piece of the jigsaw puzzle of my life will be put into place. I start the next leg of my journey...massage therapy school. I'm very excited about what I will learn and the people that I'll meet along the way. Lives that I will touch and that will touch mine.

As I have gotten older, I have become aware of necessaties that had to occur before the puzzle piece would snap into place. Some things good....some things not so good...but all very important in the forming of the "me" I'm supposed to be.

The phrase, "We're not getting older; we're getting better" rings true with me. I like the 45 year old me much better than I liked the 35 year old me or even the 25 year old me for that matter. So imagine how awesome the 55 year old me will be!! There I go again...getting ahead of myself. looking for more "beginnings."
