The day after Christmas.....not a creature was stirring

Hustle and bustle has come and gone. Last minute shopping frenzy is over. Carefully wrapped gifts have been ripped open with wild abandonment. Thoughts of turkey and pie make your stomach flip-flop.

The day after Christmas for me is hard to describe. I welcome the peace, yet the silence can border on depressing.

So....

Today I have the music turned up and am dancing closely with a vacuum and a dust cloth. Poor substitutes for the laughter of family and friends, but we do what we must!

Besides...

I have New Year's to look forward to, right? :)
