if only......Think back to when you were in kindergarten. Remember that part of the day when you went to the closet, pulled out your mat and took a little rest? I'm feeling that right now. What would it be like if, every day at 2:00 everyone in the office pulled out their nap mat and rested for an hour? Heck, I'd even settle for 30 minutes! Imagine the various volumes and different tones of snoring that would arise from cubicles or sneak out office doors. Imagine awaking refreshed and ready to finish the day on a strong note. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
i've lost my filter...oh my!!Oh where, oh where has my filter gone? Oh where oh where can it be? You know, there was a time when Bendy was a nice, quiet, somewhat introverted gal (quit laughing Max.) Through the years, I have found my voice. I speak from the truth of who I am. Nothing wrong with that! However, as I've aged, I've also lost my tolerance for those who "misrepresent." Okay, let's call a spade a spade...I have no tolerance for bullsheet. Sitting in a cube farm, I hear lots of things whether I want to or not. As of late, I've found such phrases as "it's getting deep in here" or "my bs meter is going off" just rolling off my tongue loud enough for anyone to hear. Do you think this is a bad thing? In Bendy's world it isn't. I feel if someone's called out on bs, then in time it will lessen from rolling from their lips. At least I hope this is the case. I realize that there are some that have spewed bs for so long, they actually believe what they are saying. Sad really. I will continue to do my part boldly and without filter ;)
it was a white chocolate mocha morning…..
Christmas is over. Presents opened, paper trashed.
New Year’s Eve has come and gone….
I drove in today in the cold and enjoyed the flurry of snowflakes that danced in the wind. Back to the office; business as usual. It seemed as if nothing had changed. However, that is simply not the case…
In the Biblical, seven is the number that represents completion. Wrapping things up. Finishing. Eight represents new beginnings. Are you hearing me? NEW BEGININGS! Forget about the old. Bring on the new!!
My new beginning starts next Tuesday night with a new quarter of school. I’ll also be moving to Franklin in February…another new beginning. I pray this year is full of marvels and wonders, peace, much joy and love.
